EDEN Fuels Leases First Location in Hampton Roads
Chesapeake, VA - January, 2010Thalhimer, a Member of the Cushman & Wakefield Alliance is pleased to announce EDEN Fuels has leased 60,000 square feet of manufacturing space at Chesapeake Hardwood Building located at 201 West Dexter Street in Chesapeake. This is EDEN Fuel’s first location in the Hampton Roads market.
EDEN Fuels is a manufacturer of wooden pellets utilized as alternative fuel in home heating and manufacturing primarily in the northeast and in Europe. Eden has a steady supply of raw materials from regional paper mills and recycled construction materials locally. Their end product will be shipped north by truck and to Europe by container ship. They have several orders for the pellets from European manufacturing companies and energy suppliers. Eden chose Hampton Roads due to its skilled labor force, low barrier to entry with low cost of real estate and easy access to the ports.
