Former Wyeth Building Sold - Second Sale Within a Year
Richmond, VA - May, 2012Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer is pleased to announce the sale of the former Wyeth Building property located at 1407 Cummings Drive in Richmond, Virginia.
Michael & Son Services, a plumbing, heating and air conditioning company out of Northern Virginia, purchased the approx. 273,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility situated on approximately 8.8 acres from Rebkee Partners Cummings Drive, LLC for $1.9 million. They will relocate their Richmond location from Midlothian Turnpike in Chesterfield County to this location.
James Ashby, IV of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer handled the sale negotiations on behalf of the buyer. Franklin Bell, Mac Wilson and R. Scott Douglas, SIOR, also with Thalhimer, represented the seller. Thalhimer also handled the sale of this property in September, 2011 when Rebkee purchased it as an investment.
Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer has been awarded the leasing assignment for the residual space Michael & Son will not be occupying, which includes approx. 90,000 sq.ft. of office space and approx. 100,000 sq.ft. of industrial area.
