Thalhimer Welcomes Director of Human Resources

Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer is pleased to announce Ann S. Albrecht, SPHR has joined the firm as Director, Human Resources.

Through her leadership efforts, Ms. Albrecht will be responsible for defining and aligning the firm’s human resource strategy with its business strategy at all levels.  Ms. Albrecht brings 20 years of hands-on human resources experience and proven capabilities as a business partner, generalist, manager, recruiter and trainer.  Ann has significant expertise in guiding the human resources function for Fortune 500 companies; including tactical operations, talent acquisition and management, and organizational and strategic development.  The addition of Ann to the Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer team solidifies the firm’s mission to recruit and retain the best talent in the industry.

After graduating from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, Ms. Albrecht spent 11 years with Federated Department Stores, working in both their Miami, FL and Atlanta, GA offices.  Ann further developed her human resources credentials with Primedia, Inc., an integrated media company supporting the property management industry.  Most recently, Ann was responsible for leading the human resources function of Virginia-based Plow & Hearth, LLC before and after the divestiture of the company by 1800flowers.com.
