John began his career in the commercial real estate industry in 1985 In January 1987 he joined Coldwell Banker Commercial in Norfolk, VA as a leasing and sales broker and in 1991 he was a founding partner of Virginia Commercial Real Estate Services, which Thalhimer acquired in September 2002. John’s primary area of responsibility has been the sale and leasing of office buildings. However, his expertise also includes the evaluation, marketing, negotiation and sale of acreage, apartments, industrial buildings, industrial sites, retail properties and motels. Transaction values range from $100,000 to $18,000,000.
