RICHMOND, VIRGINIA: Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer is pleased to announce that Brookfield Place will serve as the new headquarters of the Virginia Employment Commission, which recently completed a long-term lease for 79,254 square feet of office space within the 196,610 square foot office building- bringing it to 100% occupancy. Located in midtown Richmond at 6606 West Broad Street, just off I-64, Brookfield Place also serves as the headquarters for Southern States Cooperative and includes other tenants such as Virginia Urology and Keener Communications. 
Thalhimer Realty Partners (TRP), the investment and development subsidiary of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer, purchased the property from Southern States in September 2018 and is undergoing extensive capital improvements to the office building. Jason Guillot, Principal, TRP comments “We are excited to work with the Virginia Employment Commission to build out their new headquarters space at Brookfield Place, and appreciate the Commonwealth of Virginia placing their faith in us as a long-term partner”.
