Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer is excited to announce they have established an office in Charlottesville, Virginia.  The new office is located at 600 East Water Street, in the old train station building one block off of the Downtown Mall. John Pritzlaff, Vice President, joined Thalhimer in October 2014, and has focused solely on commercial real estate services in and around the Charlottesville area. Thalhimer recently welcomed Jenny Stoner to the Charlottesville office, where she will focus on sales and leasing of retail properties throughout the region.

Since entering the Charlottesville market, Thalhimer has completed more than 120 sale and lease transactions, totaling more than 1.34 million square feet and more than $84.3 million in value. Notable transactions include the sale of the historic Monticello Dairy building, sale of The Gleason Building on Garrett Street, investment sale of the CVS ground lease on Seminole Trail, the 100% building lease-up of Uncommon to Hardywood Park Craft Brewery and Purvelo, as well as the 100% lease up of the Coca-Cola Building on Preston Avenue.
In addition to commercial real estate brokerage Thalhimer also represents, for sale or lease, more than 800,000 square feet of commercial properties in the Charlottesville area. Properties exclusively represented are 3TWENTY3, Barracks Row, Hollymead Town Center, The Shops at Stonefield, The Standard, UVA Uncommon, and the former K-Mart on Hydraulic Road which is in the process of redevelopment as Hydraulic Station. Thalhimer manages commercial properties totaling more than 900,000 square feet, as well as residential management of Ivy Garden Apartments, a 440-unit apartment community located adjacent to the University of Virginia’s Darden School, the Miller Center, and UVA Law.
