RICHMOND, VIRGINIA: Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer announces that Rett Turner, CCIM, SIOR has joined their Richmond office as a first vice president specializing in office agency and tenant representation. Mr. Turner has fifteen years of commercial real estate experience, most recently with Northwood Office LLC, a full-service commercial real estate firm in Charlotte where he focused on leasing office space in Ballantyne, an internationally recognized business community with more than four million square feet of Class A office space. For Ballantyne, Rett assisted in transactions with corporations such as MetLife, ESPN, Snyder’s-Lance, LendingTree, Bank of America and Wells Fargo, among many others.  Since 2012, when Rett began in Ballantyne, his team has completed over 700 transactions whose lease values are in excess of $800,000,000. Prior to joining Northwood, that acquired Bissell Companies and its Ballantyne portfolio in 2017, Rett worked as a broker with CBRE, in Charlotte. Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Rett graduated from Hampden-Sydney College in 2004.
