Thalhimer Realty Partners Acquires Mid-Town Richmond Office Building for $14.74M — Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer Awarded Leasing & Management

RICHMOND, VIRGINIA: Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer and Thalhimer Realty Partners, Inc. (TRP) are pleased to announce TRP’s acquisition of 6606 West Broad Street in Richmond (Henrico County), Virginia. TRP, the investment and development subsidiary of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer, purchased the property from Southern States for $14,745,000. In addition, TRP has selected Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer to provide exclusive leasing representation and commercial property management services for the property, to be known as Brookfield Place.

The 206,068 square foot office building, located in midtown Richmond just off I-64, serves as the headquarters for Southern States Cooperative and includes other tenants like Virginia Urology, Wiley Wilson, and Keener Communications. Brookfield Place will continue to serve as the headquarters for Southern States, which has signed a long-term lease and will be restacking and renovating their office space. The property is 70% leased and currently offers 3,000 to 50,000 square feet of contiguous available office space.

Evan M. Magrill, SIOR and Baker Lynn of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer are the exclusive leasing representatives. Lindsay Mujacic, also with Thalhimer, is the portfolio manager assigned to the property. Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer manages nearly 25 million square feet of commercial real estate properties in Virginia and South Carolina, as well as over 7,000 multifamily  units.
